Former perfectionist, pleaser and approval-seeker
I was always the person others could rely on.
I was the helper, the one who showed up, followed through, and kept things together. Often at the expense of myself. Like many of the women I work with today, I had a deep tendency to put others’ needs ahead of my own.
For a long time, those patterns looked like strengths. They were rewarded, encouraged and often even expected. But underneath, they came with a constant sense of pressure, a mind that never shut off, and difficulty ever truly feeling at ease.
Pushing through didn’t create the relief I was hoping for. It kept me stuck.
What changed wasn’t trying harder. It was learning how to understand what was actually driving those patterns.
Through both my professional training and personal experience, I developed a deep understanding of how anxiety, people-pleasing and perfectionism are rooted in the nervous system. These patterns aren’t flaws, they are the adaptive strategies we learn over time. As I began to recognize these patterns and understand the beliefs driving them, I was able to retrain my automatic responses and shift the internal states that were keeping me stuck in survival mode.
Today, I bring that same depth of understanding into my work with clients.
I specialize in helping highly anxious women untangle the patterns that are keeping them stuck. Together, we look beyond surface level coping and work towards deep, meaningful change so you can feel more grounded, and less like you have to hold everything together on your own.
My goal in therapy is to create a space where you can slow down, feel supported and begin reconnecting to yourself in a way that feels balanced, regulated and most importantly, sustainable for the long-term.
